The room was decent. The decor is very dated, but was spotlessly clean. Bed was comfortable, with several spare pillows and blankets. Continental breakfast was fresh and tasty, although a bit monotonous. Staff were friendly and spoke reasonable amount of English.

The hotel has a perfect location just behind the large and pleasant beach (you get acces to the beach from the pool area). The sea view rooms are nice with a balcony. The pool area is large and the pool is unusually big. Outside the hotel on the beach is a very nice bar and restaurant on the beach with good food.

Axis Venmar is a lovely hotel, the breakfast was plentiful but the hot food was not good. The bar service was slow and some of the staff made you feel like they were putting them out for asking for service. It’s a nice hotel with a great pool but you will wait to be serviced.

The hotel was mostly empty when we arrived on Sunday and we loved it. The lunch on Sunday was cooked for us and it was very good.
